HKU Faculty of Law Scholarship for Common Law Studies

On the Donor

The HKU Faculty of Law Scholarship for Common Law Studies was established in 2004 in support of students admitted to the Master of Common Law Programme (MCL) offered by the Faculty of Law. The awarding of the Scholarship started in the academic year 2004-05, up to seven scholarships shall be awarded annually to selected students admitted in MCL.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of academic merits and performance in extra-curricular activities at the time of admission and on the condition that the nominated students shall achieve an overall CGPA3.00 in the first semester of MCL.

Each scholarship shall be up to the value of the tuition fee of MCL. The exact value of each scholarship shall be determined by the Scholarship Selection Committee.
