On the Donor

In 1981, the Hong Kong Computer Society donated a sum per annuam to establish a scholarship for the students studying in Computer Science and Information Systems. With effect from 2006-07, the scholarship will be awarded to a 2nd year BEng(CompSc) student. Preference will be given to candidates whose domicile is in Hong Kong.

Purpose and Scope

The scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of academic merit as shown in the results of the BEng(CompSc) Degree Examinations of the first year of study. In cases where candidates are of equal merit, preference shall be given to the one in greater financial need.
