Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants Scholarship

In 1990, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) established a scholarship to recognise outstanding accounting major students. Effective from the academic year 2018-19, the Scholarship shall be awarded annually.

Purpose and Scope

Two scholarships shall be awarded annually to non-final year students reading the degree of BBA(Acc&Fin) / BBA(Law) and LLB who have declared a professional core in accounting.

The Scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of:

  • academic merit (with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 out of 4.30);
  • participation in extra-curricular activities; and
  • good character.

Awardees must agree to take the Institute's Qualification Programme (QP) as the first professional accounting examination after graduation.
