The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Fire Division donated an annual scholarship to The University of Hong Kong with effect from the academic year 2009-10.
Purpose and Scope
Two scholarship shall be awarded each year on the basis of a research project report (e.g.
final year project, MSc project or any individual or group research projects) to full-time
students in any year of study taking an undergraduate degree programme or MSc (Eng)
degree programme in building services engineering or a relevant degree programme with a
major in building services engineering. The topic of the project should be fire engineering
related with or without the application of computer simulation/modelling.
