Hong Kong Translation Society F.C. Lo Scholarships

On the Donor

The Hong Kong Translation Society Scholarships are awarded by the Hong Kong Translation Society with the purpose of recognizing outstanding academic achievement by students of translation in tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and of promoting translation as a disclipine in such institutions. From Year 2009/10 to Year 2011/12, the Hong Kong Translation Society Scholarships are donated by Mr F.C. Lo, Chairman of FC Packaging Holding Ltd.

Purpose and Scope

Six scholarships (HK$5,000 each) will be offered each year. Two nominations are invited each UGC-funded teritary institution offering a full-time undergraduate translation degree programme in Hong Kong. Nominees shall be final-year translation students who have achieved outstanding academic results in their previous years of study. One scholarship shall be awarded to one of the two nominees from each institution.
