Hou De Charitable Foundation Scholarship for the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws Programme

On the Donor

In 2005, the Hou De Charitable Foundation (厚德基金) agreed to donate a sum of HK$200,000 to the Faculty of Law for the establishment of a scholarship fund for annual award of scholarships to up to two candidates in the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) programme for an initial period of two years. In 2008, the donor kindly agreed to continue his donation for a further of two years from 2008-09.

Purpose and Scope

The scholarships shall be awarded on the basis of academic merit.
