Jing Kung Scholarship

On the Donor

In 1986, the Jing Kung Educational Press offered to donate a scholarship from 1987-88 to be awarded annually to a full-time student reading the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PCEd) (subsequently re-named as Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)).

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded a full-time PGDE student on the basis of academic merit as shown in the final examination for the Bachelor's degree held by the candidate. The candidate's potential contribution to the teaching profession will also be taken into account. Where there are candidates of equal merit, preference shall be given to the one with greater financial need.
