JMSC Overseas Talent Scholarship
On the Donor
Commencing in the academic year 2009-2010, scholarships shall be awarded to overseas journalists or students, to fully or partially support their studies in the Journalism and Media Studies Centre (JMSC) at The University of Hong Kong through the JMSC Overseas Talent Scholarship.
Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded to the overseas journalists or students who
- wish to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate programmes at the JMSC;
- are non-Hong Kong residents;
- have maintained consistently good performance in the news industry and/or in academic results; and
- have enthusiasm towards journalism and aspire to pursue a career in journalism.
The Scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of academic or professional merit; financial need shall be considered when candidates are of equal merit.
