JMSC Young Journalist Scholarship

On the Donor

An anonymous donor generously made a donation in 2003 via Friends of HKU Ltd. to the Journalism and Media Centre for the establishment of a "JMSC Young Journalist Scholarship" scheme, and undergraduate training programmes and internship fund. The scholarship(s) shall be awarded to young Hong Kong journalist(s) working in the local Hong Kong media, who are pursuing the programmes offered by the Journalism and Media Studies Centre.

Purpose and Scope

The scholarship shall be awarded to young Hong Kong journalist(s) working in the local Hong Kong media and shall be awarded on the basis of academic merits.
