On the Donor

In 1982, the Committee of the Kam Ngan Stock Exchange Limited (金銀證券交易所) donated a sum of to support students pursuing the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme. In 1992, after liquidating the Exchange, members of the Exchange agreed to further donate in support of the scholarship. 

Purpose and Scope

The scholarship will be awarded a first year Bachelor of Dental Surgery student on the basis of academic merit in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) for admission to the University.  Results of other examinations and/or tests prescribed by the University for admission purposes may also be taken into consideration.
