Association of China-Appointed Attesting Officers Scholarships
On the Donor
In 2004, the Association of China-Appointed Attesting Officers agreed to donate an annual sum to the Faculty of Law to provide scholarships for an outstanding local PCLL graduate and an outstanding law graduate from the Chinese Mainland undertaking one-year full-time study in the Master of Common Law programme (“MCL”).
Purpose and Scope
Two scholarships shall be awarded each year as follows:
(i) One scholarship shall be awarded to a full-time student from the
Chinese Mainland (i.e. ID cardholder of the People’s Republic of China)
in the MCL programme.
(ii) One scholarship shall be awarded to a full-time PCLL student who is a
Hong Kong permanent resident.
Two scholarships shall be awarded each year as follows:
- One scholarship shall be awarded to a full-time student from the Chinese Mainland (i.e. ID cardholder of the People’s Republic of China) in the MCL programme.
- One scholarship shall be awarded to a full-time PCLL student who is a Hong Kong permanent resident.
Selection of the above scholarships shall be based on the following criteria:
- academic achievements in the MCL / PCLL studies;
- performance at the seminar conducted by the Association; and
- other qualities, including participation in extra-curricular activities, and leadership.
