On the Donor

In 2010, the family of the late Mr. Leung Ting Kui, an Engineering alumnus, donated a sum to the Department of Civil Engineering for the establishment of a Scholarship for postgraduate students with effect from the academic year 2010-11. The Scholarship was established to commemorate the friendship between Ir Leung Ting Kui and Ir Chow Che King, who were classmates during their times at the University and they have maintained very close friendship throughout their careers.

Purpose and Scope

One scholarship shall be awarded annually to a student of the MSc(Eng) in Civil Engineering programme specialising in the Structural Engineering stream on the basis of academic merit. Priority shall be given to a student in greater financial need.
