On the Donor

In 2002, a sum was donated by an anonymous donor for the establishment of the Lo Chung Wan Memorial Scholarship (盧仲雲紀念獎學金) with effect from the academic year 2001-2002. In July 2008, the donor donated a further sum to the Principal Fund, and two scholarships shall be available for award from the academic year 2008-09 onwards.

Purpose and Scope

Two Scholarships shall be awarded each year to MBBS students of any year primarily on the basis of academic merit and secondarily financial need. Where candidates are of equal merit, preference shall be given to the candidate in greater financial need.

The value of the Scholarship shall be HK$30,000 each.
