Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (HK) Scholarship
On the Donor
In 2007-08, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (HK) offered to donate a sum for the establishment of a scholarship for BSc(Surv) programme. In 2011-12, the donor offered to expand to the scope of the scheme to include MSc(ConstProjectMan) and MSc(RealEst) programmes as well. In 2018-19, the institution also opened to BA(UrbanStud), BA(Conservation) and BSc(IPD) students.
Purpose and Scope
13 scholarships shall be awarded each year as follows:
(a) For BSc(Surv) Year 2 students
- one award, at HK$5,000, for the students with the best results in the 2nd year examination
- three awards, at HK$1,000 each for the next runner-ups;
(b) For BA(UrbanStud) Year 2 students
- one award, at HK$5,000, for the students with the best results in the 2nd year examination
(c) For BA(Conservation) Year 2 students
- one award, at HK$5,000, for the students with the best results in the 2nd year examination
(d) For MSc(ConProjectMan) final-year students
- two awards, at HK$2,000 each, for the full-time student and part-time student with the best academic results in the final year studies;
(e) For MSc(RealEst) final-year students
- two awards, at HK$2,000 each, for the full-time student and part-time student with the best academic results in the final year studies;
- two awards, at HK$1,000 each, for the full-time student and part-time student with the best academic results in the final year studies; and
For MSc(IPD) final-year students
- two awards, at HK$2,000 each, for the part-time student with the best academic results in the final year studies.

- two awards, at HK$2,000 each, for the full-time student and part-time student with the best academic results in the final year studies;
- two awards, at HK$1,000 each, for the full-time student and part-time student with the second best academic results in the final year studies; and
For MSc(IPD) final-year students
- one award, at HK$2,000, for the part-time student with the best academic results in the final year studies.
