Transport Policy and Planning Scholarship, The

The Transport Policy and Planning Scholarship (hereafter the Scholarship) was established in 2009-10 to encourage and support good quality local and/or non-local students to undertake the Master of Arts in Transport Policy and Planning programme. Following the retitling of the programme from Master of Arts in Transport Policy and Planning to Master of Transport Policy and Planning (MTP&P) effective from the 2025-26 intake and thereafter, the Scholarship has been updated to reflect this change.

Purpose and Scope

Up to two scholarships shall be awarded each year to students of the MTP&P programme. The Scholarship is open to all full-time candidates of the MTP&P programme who have achieved First Class Honours or equivalent in their undergraduate studies and/or Distinction in their master’s studies.
