DLA Piper Scholarship

On the Donor

In 2012, DLA Piper agreed to donate a scholarship to the Faculty of Law at The University of Hong Kong for the establishment of the "DLA Piper Scholarship". 

Purpose and Scope

 The Scholarship consists of a cash award of HK$20,000 and will be available annually for award to a third-year LL.B. student or a fourth-year student who is doing any mixed degree programmes at the Faculty of Law.

Selection will be based on the following:

- academic merit (To be eligible for selection, applicants should attain a cumulative GPA of 3.1 or above in the first semester of his/her third/fourth year of study);

- other qualities, including leadership and personality;

- performance during the interview and subsequently the assessment day, if invited; and

- if offered, acceptance of the trainee contract that commences in the August following the receipient's completion of the PCLL programme.
