MTR Scholarship in Electrical Engineering

In 2012, the MTR Corporation Limited donated one scholarship each year to the University for award with effect from the academic year 2012-13.

Purpose and Scope

One scholarship shall be awarded to one full-time second-year student pursuing studies in the B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering degree programme offered by the Department of Electrical Engineering. 

The scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of student's academic merit with GPA over 3.0 for the second semester in the first academic year; and GPA over 3.2 for the first semester in the second academic year.

The recipient of the scholarship shall undertake a training of not less than 6 weeks in the MTR Corporation Limited.
