On the Donor
In January 2013, alumnus Dr Edward Tam Wai-chau donated a sum through Friends of HKU in response to the "Turn $1 to FIVE" Campaign. The donation was used to set up scholarship in support of medical and nursing students of the Medical Faculty in memory of the late Madame Tam Lo Lai, Dr Tam's mother.
Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded annually to one MBBS and one BNurs students of any year
of study on the basis of academic merit.
