Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG) Scholarships in Statistics

On the Donor

In 2012, Numercial Algorithms Group (NAG) donated a sum in support of outstanding postgraduates to pursue studies in computational statistics.

Purpose and Scope

i) One scholarship shall be awarded to an MPhil or PhD candidate studying one in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science for the best thesis where NAG software is used.

ii) Two scholarships shall be awarded to two final-year Master of Statistics candidates who have declard either the Risk management theme or Statistical Infomatics theme, based on their examination results in the theme.
