On the Donor

In 2012, Professor Lam Chi-chung generously made a donation to the Faculty of Education for the establishment of a scholarship in memory of his mother-in-law, Madam Chu Kwai Ying.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded to the selected students of the following programmes:
- Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in Language Education - English
- Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in Language Education - Chinese
- Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Science
- Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Social Sciences

Selection criteria:

• Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00; and
• The selected students should demonstrate strong interest in and commitment to experiential learning.

The successful students will be required to demonstrate that they have achieved the specified learning outcomes after their participation in the Faculty's experiential learning programmes.

The Scholarship cannot be held concurrently with other merit-based enrichment scholarships administered by the University for the same activity. The Scholarship may be held concurrently with non-merit-based financial aids.
