Cheng C. Chiu Scholarship for Outstanding Medical Students
On the Donor
In 2008, Dr May Helen Chiu generously donated a sum to establish a scholarship endowment in memory of her late husband, Mr Cheng C. Chiu. The annual investment income generated from the endowment will be used to award the scholarships to outstanding students entering the University to pursue the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
Purpose and Scope
There shall be two scholarships annually awarded to one male and one female medical student of Chinese descent, on the basis of their academic achievements at HKALE and HKDSE, and secondly on the interview performance.
