Henk Tideman Scholarships in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

On the Donor

In December 2012, a group of former students of Professor Henk Tideman, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, generously donated to the "Turn $1 to Five" Campaign.  The group of students included Dr James Chow, Dr Edward Hui, Dr Philip Lee Kin-Man, Dr William Li, Dr Ben Chow Kiang-Cheong, Dr Raymond Chow Lop-Keung and Dr Alfred Lau Sze-Lok. The donation will be used to set up scholarships in support of students of the Faculty of Dentistry.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarships shall be awarded by the Board of Examiners for BDS I to V Assessment to two BDS students in the penultimate year of the curriculum who, having regard to performance in all Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery components of the BDS Assessment in the specified year, have the best overall performance in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
