On the Donor

In June 2013, Dr Anne Kwok Mei-Kwun, an alumna and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine, and her brother Mr Alvin Kwock generously donated a sum under the "Turn $1 to Five" Campaign to honour their mother.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarships shall be awarded annually to undergraduate students studying the MBBS curriculum in the LKS Faculty of Medicine on the basis of academic merit, as shown by examination results and continuous assessment in any year of study.  Where candidates are of equal merit, preference shall be given to those who:
(i) have greater financial need, or
(ii) are committed to voluntary community services.

A maximum of two awards shall be made each year to MBBS students of any year on the basis of academic merit. Where candidates are of equal merit, preference shall be given to those who:

(i) have greater financial need, or
(ii) are committed to voluntary community services.

The value of the Scholarship shall be HK$10,000 each. In the case of a deserving final year candidate who also excels in paediatrics and surgery, the value of the Scholarship shall be adjusted to HK$20,000 subject to the decision of the Selection Committee.
