Philip K H Wong Foundation Postgraduate Fellowships

Dr Philip K H Wong, an alumnus and the former Chairman of The University of Hong Kong Foundation(香港大學基金) and a dedicated philanthropist, generously set up a scholarship endowment in 2004 to support scholarship schemes that are in line with the University's strategic directions.
The primary objective of the Philip K H Wong Foundation Postgraduate Fellowships is to attract and groom high-calibre students to pursue research postgraduate studies and to raise its research capabilities.
Purpose and Scope
The Philip K H Wong Foundation Postgraduate Fellowships shall be used as entrance scholarships for first-year research postgraduate students vased on academic strengths under the University Postgraduate Fellowships Scheme.
The fellowships will be awarded based on academic merit.
