On the Donor

In March 2014, Dr Harry Shum, an Engineering alumnus, generously donated to establish a scholarship in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of the Hong Kong to pay tribute to his former supervisor, Professor Tso Shiu Kit.

Purpose and Scope

There shall be one scholarship available annually for award to a full-time undergraduate student pursuing final year of studies in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of student's academic merit.
