In 2014 Mr Simon Cheong-moon Wong agreed to establishment of scholarship tenable to PhD and MPhil students of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding PhD or MPhil student in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy, who is engaged in research on Pharmaceutics or Pharm Technology, as recommended by the Departmental Research Postgraduate Committee (DRPC) on the basic of academic merit and financial needs.

The awardee shall visit a repurtable international research institution to gain experiential learning in the academic year following the award of the Scholarship.  After the visit, the awardee shall make a presentation or submit a report on his/her visit to the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy.
