On the Donor

In December 2012, Dr Robert Ching Ting Yiu, the then Warden of R. C. Lee Hall, generously donated a sum to set up a scholarship for students residing in R. C. Lee Hall.

By taking the lead to give, Dr Chung wished to gather more support from the R. C. Lee Hall alumni in support of the Fund. As of December 2013, a further donation was raised in support of this scholarship, which was subsequently named “R. C. Lee Hall Alumni Association Scholarship”.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded to undergraduate student(s) in any Faculty who fulfil the following criteria:

• be a resident at R. C. Lee Hall (for a consecutive period of not less than a year);
• attained a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or top 15% class ranking; and 
• be innovative and demonstrate initiatives in leading and contributing to societal development.

The Scholarship shall be at the value of HK$10,000 each. Up to two awards may be awarded each year.
