On the Donor

In 2015, the Town Health International Medical Group Limited pledged an annual donation to set up a scholarship programme in support students of the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine. 

Purpose and Scope

The aim of the Scholarships is to nurture medicial and healthcare leaders of tomorrow so that they can contribute to society in the furture. It provides financial support to deserving needy students to enable them to focus on their studies and at the same time, recognize their contribution to community services.

The Scholarships shall be awarded to Year 3 undergraduate students (local or Chinese Mainland) reading for the degrees of MBBS and BNurs in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine.

Selection criteria:

• Academic merit (a CGPA of 3.2 or above or within top 20% of the class),
• Financial need, and
• Leadership skills demonstrated via community services.
