Shun Hing College, a residential college for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, is committed to building a vibrant and inclusive community of students and scholars. In view of the University's policy to promote internationalisation, the College strives to serve as a hub for academic and cultural exchanges with leading international institutions.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarships shall be awarded to second or third-year undergraduate students who will be partaking in academic exchange for a year to universities in Japan under the HKU Worldwide Exchange Scheme or faculty-level exchange programmes.

Selection criteria:

• Academic merit (a minimum of CGPA of 3.2 or above), and
• Financial need

The Scholarships cannot be held concurrently with other enrichment scholarships administered under the HKU Worldwide Exchange Programme.
