Chiu-Kwan-Ying Memorial Scholarship, The

On the Donor

In 2003, the late Dr. Lee Hon Wing, one of the founders of the MSocSc in Educational Psychology Programme at the University, donated a sum to establish scholarships for the MSocSc in Educational Psychology and MSocSc in Clinical Psychology programmes. In 2015-16, the value of the scholarship was reviewed and increased from HK$1,000 to HK$10,000 each.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded as follows: 

• one scholarship shall be awarded every other year to a graduate of the MSocSc in Educational Psychology programme; and 
• one scholarship every year to a graduate of the MSocSc in Clinical Psychology programme. 

The Scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of outstanding performance in the practicum related to the two aforementioned programmes.
