Shanghai Commercial Bank Scholarship

With the support of the Shanghai Commercial Bank Limited, a scholarship has
been established and awarded to undergraduate students at the Faculty of Business and
Economics (FBE) who have achieved academic excellence since the academic year 2014-
15.
With the support of the Shanghai Commercial Bank Limited, a scholarship has been established and awarded to undergraduate students at the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) who have achieved academic excellence since the academic year 2014-15.
Purpose and Scope
Up to five scholarships shall be awarded annually on the basis of the following criteria:
(a) full-time local Year 3 or Year 4 FBE undergraduate students;
(b) academic merit (a minimum CGPA of 3.30); and
(c) preference will be given to students who have
(i) financial need;
(ii) demonstrated contribution in social services or community engagement activity; and
(iii) demonstrated leadership and other outstanding personal qualities.
Five scholarships shall be awarded annually on the basis of the following criteria:
(a) full-time local penultimate and final year FBE undergraduate students;
(b) academic merit (a minimum CGPA of 3.30); and
(c) preference will be given to students who have
- demonstrated contribution in social services or community engagement activity;
- demonstrated leadership and other outstanding personal qualities;
- demonstrated aspiration to pursue his/her career in the financial industry; and
- not received the Shanghai Commercial Bank Scholarship before.
