Jardine Ho Tung Scholarship

On the Donor

In 1952, the late Sir Robert Ho Tung, Kt., LL.D., Com.Leg.Hon., and Jardine, Matheson & Company Limited donated a sum to establish a scholarship scheme in honour of Sir Robert's ninetieth birthday (December 1952).

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded annually to BA students in any year of study pursuing a major in the School of Chinese, on the basis of academic merit.
 
The Scholarship shall be tenable for the normative period of study, subject to satisfactory academic performance being maintained.

Note:
  • Applications are usually accepted in Semester One of each academic year.
  • Applications for the 2023-24 Scholarship will open in late August 2023 and close in late September 2023. For details, please refer to 2023-24 General Round Scholarship Applications. Results are expected to be available around May/June 2024.
