Master of Public Health Entrance Scholarship

In 2015, the Board of Studies of Master of Public Health (MPH) established an Entrance Scholarship to provide support on tuition fee for MPH candidates from developing countries.
Purpose and Scope
Up to two scholarships shall be awarded to new students from low-income or lower-middle-income countries as defined by the World Bank pursuing the full-time or part-time MPH programme.
Selection criteria:
- Academic merit
- Financial need
Each scholarship entails:
a. waiver of the composition fees of the MPH programme (i.e. HK$185,220 in 2022-23);
b. a stipend to support one-year’s living expenses2;
c. economy-class return airfare at the lowest cost between the awardee’s country of
residence and Hong Kong; and
d. one year’s free accommodation in university student residences. Each scholarship entails:
