On the Donor
n 2016, the family of Mr Chu Tsun Hong decided to redirect an earlier donation of HK$200,000 to set up a prize for recognizing outstanding postgraduate research students at the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE) under the Faculty of Engineering. The Scholarship shall be awarded with effect from the academic year 2015-16.
The value of each Scholarship shall range from HK$10,000 to HK$20,000, with the exact value to be determined by the Department Research Committee each year

Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded annually to a maximum of two research postgraduate students, on the basis on the impact of their research outcomes during their studies at the Department of IMSE. Research outcomes include research achievements such as publications, patents, and non-conventional research outputs.
