ATAL Engineering Group Scholarship in Electrical Engineering

On the Donor

Through a kind donation by the ATAL Engineering Limited in 2007, the “ATAL Engineering Scholarship” was established at the University. In 2010, the Scholarship was renamed as “Analogue Engineering Group Scholarship”, after ATAL Engineering Limited’s parent company. The Analogue Engineering Group was rebranded as “ATAL Engineering Group (ATAL)” in 2016 and the scholarship was also renamed in the same year.

Purpose and Scope

The scholarship shall be awarded to a full-time undergraduate student who is a Hong Kong resident pursuing final year of studies in the B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering (EE) offered by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The Scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of student’s academic merit with GPA over 3.0 on average for the two semesters that precede the final year of studies, and leadership performance in the same year. Preference shall be given to students who have participated in the summer internship offered by ATAL, and who are interested in joining ATAL after graduation.
