In 2016, the Hong Kong Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce pledged to donate a sum, contributed by its members, to set up an award at the University in Memory of the late Dr Rayson Huang, Honorary Chairman of the Chamber and the first Chinese Vice-Chancellor of The University of Hong Kong.
The Award shall be made to undergraduate students who plan to take part in Chinese Mainland or international (ML/INT) learning activities and shall be awarded on the basis of academic merit (normally with a Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above) and demonstrated commitment to and understanding of the proposed ML/INT learning experience.
The award may not be held concurrently with other enrichment scholarships administered by the University for the same learning activity.
