On the Donor
Fargo Wealth Group Limited (華港財富集團有限公司) was set up by a group of alumni from the Master of Economics and Master of Finance Programmes. To recognize the achievement of students with outstanding overall performance and their contributions to the community of the Faculty’s taught masters programmes, a scholarship with an initial donation from the donor was established in 2016.
The donor kindly injected a further donation in October 2019 and May 2021. In 2021, the Scholarship was expanded to the Master of Finance in Financial Technology programme and the maximum number of awards was increased to fourteen per year.
Purpose and Scope
Up to fourteen scholarships shall be awarded each year to full-time Year One students of Master of Accounting, Master of Economics, Master of Finance, Master of Finance in Financial Technology, Master of Global Management, Master of Science in Business Analytics and Master of Science in Marketing, on the basis of academic performance in the respective programme and contributions to the community of the respective masters programme.
