Faculty of Dentistry Scholarship for Taught Postgraduate Studies

In 2017, the Faculty of Dentistry established a number of scholarships to support self-financed taught postgraduate students who have outstanding academic merit.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded, on the basis of outstanding academic merit, to students enrolled in the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) and Master of Science (MSc) programmes. 

The value of each Scholarship (per programme) shall be HK$100,000 and HK$30,000 for the MDS and MSc programmes respectively and the Scholarship shall be disbursed in one or up to three annual instalments (depending on the length of normative study period). For students whose normative study period is more than one year, subsequent disbursement(s) of scholarship instalments shall be subject to satisfactory academic performance being maintained.
