In September 2017 and January 2019, the Linklaters Hong Kong (“the Donor”) established the "Linklaters (Marc Harvey) Scholarship" to honour the contribution of Mr Marc Harvey at Linklaters Hong Kong. The Scholarship aims to support talented law students with financial difficulties studying at The University of Hong Kong. In October 2025, the Donor agreed to continue their support to the Scholarship
for five more years (from 2026-27 to 2030-31) and proposed to rename the scholarship as
“The Linklaters Scholarship”.
One scholarship shall be awarded each year to an undergraduate law student on the basis
of academic merit (as shown in the public examination for admission to the University
for first-year students) and financial need. Performance during interviews, which may be
arranged when appropriate, may be taken into consideration.
If the awardee achieves a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.40 or above as of Semester 2 of
their first year of studies, they shall be eligible to an internship at the Donor’s office in the
year following the award year.
