On the Donor

In July 2017, the Sun Chieh Yeh Heart Foundation (孫建業心臟基金) generously pledged a donation for the establishment of the “Sun Chieh Yeh Heart Foundation Enrichment Scholarship” in the LKS Faculty of Medicine.

Purpose and Scope

The Enrichment Scholarship shall be awarded annually to MBBS students who undertake cardiology-related learning and/or research activities during their MBBS Elective Module and/or Enrichment Year Programme, which can be in clinical cardiology basic research, medical physics, applied electronics and engineering in cardiovascular medicine, etc. The Scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of degree, patent and publication, whenever applicable of the proposed activities.

The Scholarship cannot be held concurrently with other merit-based enrichment scholarships administered by the University for the same activity. The Scholarship may be held concurrently with non-merit-based financial aids.
