CPA Australia Scholarship

On the Donor
CPA Australia Ltd (formerly known as The Australian Society of CPAs) has been supporting accounting students at the University since 1999 in the form of an annual prize. In January 2018, the donor converted the prize into a scholarship to recognise outstanding accounting graduates who are interested in joining CPA Australia. In April 2022, the Scholarship was extended to students in the Master of Accounting Programme and the number of scholarships was increased to three awards.
Purpose and Scope
Three scholarships shall be awarded each year to students who are intended to pursue
CPA Australia qualification. The scholarship award categories and annual award quota
shall be as follows:
- one final-year student in the Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting
and Finance who has achieved outstanding academic results based on the final-
year first-semester examinations;
- one final-year student in the Bachelor of Business Administration (Law)/
Bachelor of Business Administration (Law) and Bachelor of Laws who has
declared a professional core in accounting and achieved outstanding academic
results based on the final-year first-semester examinations; and
- one final-year student in the Master of Accounting Programme who has
achieved outstanding academic results based on the first three modules.
3. The Scholarship shall be in the form of waivers of CPA Australia’s application fee, annual
membership fee and one exam enrolment fee.

The Scholarship cannot be held concurrently with scholarship offered by any other accounting professional bodies.
