On the Donor

In 2018, the School of Chinese of the Faculty of Arts established a scholarship and a prize for final year students of the Master of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature (MACLL) programme. The Scholarship and Prize shall be awarded from the academic year 2018-19.

Purpose and Scope

Two Scholarships shall be awarded annually to final year MACLL students who have achieved the best academic performance by obtaining "Distinction" and the highest CGPA in the programme. When candidates are of equal merit, preference shall be given to the candidate with the most active participation in the programme.

The Scholarship cannot be held concurrently with the MA in Chinese Language and Literature Prize.
