In 2018, Shenzhen Suoxinda Data Technology Company Limited kindly pledged a sum of HK$200,000 to establish a scholarship for outstanding postgraduate students pursuing Data Science studies at The University of Hong Kong, with an objective of nurturing data scientists for the banking and financial industries. The scholarship shall be awarded from the academic year 2018-19.

Purpose and Scope
Two scholarships shall be awarded annually to students entering the Master of Science in Data Science programme, on the basis of academic merit and admission interview performance.
