Academic Excellence Scholarship for the Master of Arts in English Studies

In 2018, the School of English established a Scholarship for students of the Master of Arts in English Studies programme to recognise their outstanding achievements upon completion of the programme. The Scholarship shall be awarded to cohorts admitted from the academic year 2019-20.
The value of each award shall be equivalent to 50% of the total value of an awardeeâÂÂs tuition fee.

Purpose and Scope
Two awards available annually to final-year students of the Master of Arts in English Studies programme on the basis of academic merit upon completion of the programme. Out of the two awards, one shall be for a full-time student, and the other for a part-time student.
Awardees shall not receive any other scholarships concurrently from the University throughout their studies in the Master of Arts in English Studies programme.
The Scholarship shall be awarded annually to final-year students of the Master of Arts in the field of English Studies programme, on the basis of academic merit upon completion of the programme.
The exact award number and values of awards shall be determined by the Selection Committee, based on students’ academic performances and funding availability. In any event, the value of each scholarship shall be not less than HK$10,000.
