Parkside Chambers Scholarship

On the Donor

In December 2018, Parkside Chambers (the “Donor”) pledged to donate an initial sum

of HK$200,000 to establish the Parkside Chambers Scholarship Fund (the “Fund”), for

the purpose of supporting law students of The University of Hong Kong (the

“University”) to take part as visiting students at prestigious overseas universities.

Purpose and Scope

Up to 2 awards may be awarded each academic year to undergraduate students who

are to be or have been accepted to visit prestigious overseas universities, on the basis

of academic merit as reflected in public examinations for admission to the University

and cGPA during their undergraduate studies. Financial need, interview

performance, leadership potential and track record of community services may also

be taken into consideration.

The Scholarship shall only be awarded to students who are committed to joining the Bar.
