In 2019, the Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd. agreed to donate a sum of HK$1.5 million to the
Department of Real Estate and Construction for the establishment of a fellowship scheme for
research postgraduate students. The Fellowship aims to attract high-calibre students to pursue
research postgraduate studies in the field of institutional analysis and nurture the leaders of
tomorrow.

Purpose and Scope
The Fellowship shall be awarded on the basis of:
- Academic merits;
- Quality of research proposals which must be endorsed by the candidates' supervisors;
and
- Relevance of the candidates’ research field to Institutional Analysis.
