On the Donor

In celebration of the Faculty of Science Oak Anniversary in 2019, Dr Winnie S M Tang
鄧 淑 明 , an alumna of the Faculty, pledged a donation of HK$ 200,000 for the 
establishment of a scholarship for outstanding undergraduates in the Bachelor of Arts 
and Sciences in Applied Artificial Intelligence Programme. 

In celebration of the Faculty of Science Oak Anniversary in 2019, Dr Winnie S M Tang 鄧淑明 , an alumna of the Faculty, pledged a donation for the establishment of a scholarship for outstanding undergraduates in the Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Applied Artificial Intelligence Programme. 

Purpose and Scope

Two scholarships shall be awarded annually to students in the Bachelor of Arts 
and Sciences in Applied Artificial Intelligence degree on the basis of academic 
merit as follows: 
 
 
 
(i). One scholarship, of the value of HK$20,000, shall be awarded to a 
student who has completed his or her second-year study of the 
aforementioned degree, based on his/ her Year I and II university 
examination results. 
 
 
 
(ii). One scholarship, of the value of HK$20,000, shall be awarded to a 
student who has completed his or her third-year of study of the 
aforementioned degree, based on his/ her Year II and III university 
examination results. 

Two scholarships shall be awarded annually to students in the Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Applied Artificial Intelligence degree on the basis of academic merit as follows: 

  • One scholarship shall be awarded to a student who has completed his or her second-year study of the aforementioned degree, based on his/ her Year I and II university examination results. 
  •  One scholarship shall be awarded to a student who has completed his or her third-year of study of the aforementioned degree, based on his/ her Year II and III university examination results.
