Entrance Scholarships for Taught Postgraduate Studies in the Department of Real Estate and Construction

In 2019, the Department of Real Estate and Construction established entrance scholarships to 
support outstanding students of its self-financed taught postgraduate programmes.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded annually, on the basis of academic merit at the time of 
admission as shown in the academic qualification, performance at admission interview, 
and/or other professional achievements, to new students enrolled in the Master of Science 
in Real Estate (MSc(RE)) and Master in Construction Project Management (MSc(CPM)) 
programmes. To promote internationalization of the programmes, preference will be 
given to international students from different cultures. 
 
 
 
3. The number of scholarships to be awarded each year and the value of each scholarship 
shall be determined by the Selection Committee based on the quality of the candidates. In 
any case, the number of scholarships per programme shall not exceed 10% of the intake 
number of that programme in the relevant academic year. The value of each scholarship 
shall range from 10-50% of the respective prevailing programme tuition fee
