In 2019, Department of Computer Science established a scholarship to attract

outstanding candidates from overseas to pursue the Master of Science in Computer Science

(MSc(CompSc)) programme at The University of Hong Kong.

In 2019, Department of Computer Science established a scholarship to attract outstanding candidates from overseas to pursue the Master of Science in Computer Science (MSc(CompSc)) programme at The University of Hong Kong.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded annually, on the basis of academic merit and

personal qualities, to full-time non-local students, holding a Bachelor’s degree from

an overseas university and valid student visas in Hong Kong, entering in the Master of

Science in Computer Science Programme. If necessary, applicants may be invited

for interviews.

3. Up to five scholarships shall be awarded each year, and the value of each scholarship

shall be at least 25% of the tuition fee1. The exact number and value of scholarships

shall be determined by the Selection Committee.
