Ngan Hon Wing Memorial Scholarship
顏漢榮紀念獎學金
On the Donor
In September 2019, Mr Peter Ngan, an Engineering and MBA alumnus, and Dr
Mary Ngan, a MBBS alumna pledged HK$200,000 in support of a scholarship to
pay tribute to their late father, Dr Ngan Hon Wing (MBA 1985). The late Dr Ngan
was a faculty member at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Hong
Kong Polytechnic University. He was the first in his family to attend university,
and believed strongly that education can transform lives and provide opportunities
thought to be out of the reach of students with financial needs. It is hoped that the
Scholarship can support deserving and needy students to gain access to a
university education.
